Our Priorities
We aim to:
- Provide warm, safe and secure homes by improving your homes to
meet the Trafford Standard
- Keep rents affordable
- Give tenants a real say in decisions about their homes and
neighbourhoods
- Identify housing needs in Trafford and ensure those needs are
met
- Develop the Councils current services which tackle anti-social
behaviour and help improve community safety
- Improve and develop suitable housing for people with
disabilities, the elderly and the young
- Create local Repair Teams and Estate Caretakers
- Develop and enhance the six priority neighbourhoods in
Trafford
- Continually improve services provided to tenants
- Develop local labour and training initiatives
- Establish a workplace where employees are valued
- Provide tenants with maximum choice on their homes, management
and maintenance
- Acknowledge tenants have the right to peace and quiet in their
homes without fear
- Support and develop community projects such as food co-ops and
local libraries
- Improve the whole environment in Trafford
