Investment and regeneration
Trafford Housing Trust is set to spend over £150 million on improvement works to Tenants’ homes between 2005 - 2010. The money is available following the establishment of Trafford Housing Trust as a Housing Association.
We have already completed work to the value of £45 million, since transfer in 2005, this work has included:
- Installing over 2,000 kitchens
- Installing over 2,000 bathrooms
- Rewiring over 1,500 homes
- Installing over 1,500 new heating systems
- Installing double glazing to over 1,400 homes
We will be working with various contractors to carry out these works but this will include our contractor partners: Bramall Construction, Wate’s Living Space, Bullock Construction and GM Procure.
