Annual General Meeting

As you may be aware the Trust’s Annual General Meeting took place on 18TH September 2007 at Lancashire Cricket Club. While this is a legal requirement for formally presenting the Company accounts and electing new members of the Board, we have also used it as an opportunity for tenants to hold the Board and Executive team to account.

Accordingly, I did a short presentation about the achievements of the Trust over the last twelve months (available on the website if you are interested) culminating in the staff video from the Staff Conference in April and then opened the floor for questions and comments. There was nothing too taxing but it is important that we give tenants an opportunity to grill us every now and then, even if they don’t take it!
