The Sale Moor Community Partnership, in association with its partners, held another successful consultation day on Saturday the 19th November, using the Trafford “Merlin” bus.

On board were:

  • Trafford Housing Trust who gave advice to residents about housing problems and ways of avoiding rent difficulties. For more information please contact 0161 968 0157
  • Bramhall Construction, the contractor carrying out the installation of UPVC windows in the Sale area for Trafford Housing Trust, gave updates on progress of the work and advised residents on dates for fitting. For more information please contact 0161 968 0106
  • The Altrincham Court Service who gave advice on which agencies to approach in the event of legal communications. For more information please contact 0161 975 4760
  • Trafford Primary Care Trust provided residents with information about the current health and well-being initiatives in the Sale area including weight loss sessions and health walks. For more information please contact 0161 912 2641

Sale Moor Community Partnership recruited some volunteers to assist with its projects including courses in the Community Learning Centre and assistance with newsletter and leaflet distribution.

The Chair of the Sale Moor Community Partnership said that ‘the consultation days was effective as it brought variety of services and advice providers directly to the community and enabled the Partnership to gain valuable feedback on the effectiveness of service delivery in the area. ’
