The Rivers Football Tournament

On a very wet Friday morning in February, Katie McElroy the Housing Officer from Old Trafford organised a football tournament for all the kids from the Rivers Estate.

David Esdaile from the Youth Team refereed but we expected the turnout to be poor as the rain was coming down so hard that the grids were overflowing.  But the kids did turn up and it was a great day.

The Trust gave out medals and certificates to everyone who attended and Katie awarded winners cups to the winning side. We even had a man of the match.
