The Trust has now received its final inspection report from the Audit Commission. We are focusing our efforts on plans to ensure that the recommendations made by the inspectors are implemented.

Much is already being accomplished, including:

• Profiling our customers, via the resident information booklets which are currently being completed.

• Developing our own Race, Disability and Gender Equality Schemes.

• Continuing our work to carry out environmental improvements within neighbourhoods and increase the energy efficiency of our homes.

• Strengthening our focus on value for money and efficiency.

We are proud that the report acknowledges how far the Trust has come in a short space of time. It also demonstrates that we are well on track to achieve the target in our corporate plan to be a two star organisation by 2008.
