In September 2007, Trafford Housing Trust carried out
research to examine the barriers to involvement for The Black and
Minority Ethnic (BME) Community in Trafford.
The findings of this research were presented to members of the
BME community in November 2008 in Old Trafford. During the
presentation the Trust highlighted the services it needs
to shape in order to involve BMEs in the future.
As a result, a focus group for Trafford Housing Trust BME
tenants is in the making under the guidance of Audra
Brandy Community and Partnership Engagement
