Abandoned and Nuisance Vehicles

Trafford Council have a statutory duty to deal with abandoned vehicles whether it is on our land or not. In the first instance they will investigate and if it is abandoned, they will take the necessary action. If the vehicle is not abandoned, but causing a nuisance i.e. it is an eyesore or obstruction, Trust staff will intervene. It is useful to have as much information as possible in such a case and therefore we ask on reporting such a vehicle if you could include.

  • Exact location of the vehicle.
  • Vehicle registration number.
  • Colour of vehicle.
  • Make and model of vehicle.
  • Whether there is a car tax disc on the vehicle - and if the tax is current or expired.
