Communal living is different to living in a house or bungalow -
it brings with it a unique sense of community spirit.
For those living, or thinking of moving into one of our communal
blocks, your most important consideration must be for your
neighbours. Living in a flat generally means you will be living in
much closer proximity to your next door neighbours and will share
communal facilities. We champion 'Giving and Getting Respect' at
Trafford Housing Trust and ask all of our customers to live by this
too.
Health and safety is a paramount concern for us and all of our
customers who live communally. We are currently developing a
Communal Living Pack which will be available to download here.
Within the pack will be general advice and guidance
on communal living, seasonal tips on health and safety as
well as a outline of the legal requirements communal customers must
uphold whilst living in these types of property.
