If you're dissatisfied with where you're living, did you know
you can advertise your home through our mutual exchange register.
It's free, and you may find another tenant who is happy to swap
homes with you.
To take part in a mutual exchange all we ask is that you are
renting a property in Trafford already and are registered with
us.
Just provide your full property details and we will advertise
the home you are currently living in and also the type and location
of the new home you wish to move to.
To register your home for mutual exchange, please click
here.
To see which properties are available to exchange please click
here. You will find a list of everyone on Trafford Housing
Trust's Mutual Exchange register, who have been listed in order of
where they live. You can look up the area you want by clicking one
of the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet and then find a
suitable type of property.
If you do find someone you want to do a Mutual Exchange with you
can write them a letter.
Conditions of Mutual Exchange:
- If you agree to an exchange you must accept your new home in
its present decorative condition
- Trafford Housing Trust cannot give you a transfer if you are
unhappy with the exchange after you have moved
- Private tenants must have their landlord's permission before
completing the registration form
- You must not move until you have your landlord's written

For individuals living outside of Trafford who would like to

home.
