Homes for
Britain is a united voice for housing, representing
all parts of the housing sector. They have come together for the
first time to put housing where it belongs - top of the political
agenda.
The Trust stongly believes that new house building generates new
growth in the economy and new jobs, which is why we are
backing this campaign to tell the politicians of all parties that
building new homes makes sense for Britain's economic recovery.
The Trust has 3 major housebuilding projects at this moment in
time...
In Sale we are building 71 apartments for rent and shared
ownership on the site of Atkinson Court and Palace Road
We are building 33 family houses in Davyhulme for rent and
shared ownership
We are building 62 new two bedroom homes with the aim
of creating a gateway into Old Trafford. All homes at Essex
Way will be for affordable rent and will be managed by Trafford
Housing Trust. Work has now started and the properties will be
completed by spring 2013.
