Ways To Pay

Here at Trafford Housing Trust, we like to make things easier for our customers, which is why we have a range of methods for you to make payments to your account...

Direct debit allows us to take the correct amount from your bank account on a date that you prefer. We can arrange this with you by calling 0300 777 7777. You will need your bank account details to hand. Alternatively complete the Mandate form below and return it to us.

If you have a joint account we require a mandate form to be completed as at this stage we are unable to set up over the phone.  

By standing order

Standing Orders are slightly different from Direct Debits as only you can amend the amount to be paid.  If you would like to pay by standing order, you will need to complete the form below

You can make payments to your rent account online via a secure payment facility.  To do this,CLICK HERE and follow the simple instructions.  Payments made via this facility will be credited to your rent account within 5 - 7 days.  A reference number is provided as confirmation of your payment.  (Please note, you will be automatically re-directed to when using this facility.

You can make a payment at the touch of a button using the FREE allpay App.

You are able to make a payment at the post office or any outlet that displays the pay point sign via cash or credit or debit card.  For further information on Post Office outlets, please contact 08457 223344.Or to find your nearest paypoint facility

 24 hours Payment line

Call 0844 557 8321 to make a payment with a credit or debit card , this is an automated facility and clear instructions are provided.  It normally takes approximately 3 minutes to complete and cost 5p a minute from a BT land line mobiles rates will vary.  A transaction and a payment reference number will be generated to confirm your payment.

Cash payments

Cash payments can be made over the counter at our Head Office* Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

The following services require you to have your 19 digit unique reference number that can be found on your rent payment card,  which  we will request for you when you sign up for your tenancy.   If you have lost your card and need new payment card to be issued, please get in touch and we will re-order one for you. 

By cheque

Cheques should be made payable to Trafford Housing Trust , if you would like to post your cheque  our address is Trafford Housing Trust, Sale Point, 126-150 Washway Road, Sale, M33 6AG. You should write your 19 digit reference number on the back of your cheque, with your name and address.  Payments may take a couple of days to credit your rent account and you will be sent a receipt once the payment has been actioned.  You should not send post dated cheques and you should not send cash payments through the post.

Please remember that you should always make rental payments on time and in line with your Tenancy Agreement which states:

14.1    You must pay the rent and any service charge and/or arrears in advance, on or before Monday of each week. If you do not pay we may go to Court to get a Court Order to evict you from your home.

 It is your responsibility to make sure that your payments reach us on time.
