Domestic Violence

How we can help victims of domestic violence

Domestic violence can happen to both men and women. Whatever form it takes, domestic violence is rarely a one-off incident.

The Home Office's definition of domestic violence is: "Any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality."

Whatever your situation, living with domestic violence is never the answer. If you want to discuss a violent living situation or would like more information on the help that we, and our partner agencies provide, click here and email us.
