
Different ways to pay your rent
We want to make it as easy and as flexible for you to pay your
rent, so you can choose from one of the following options:
- Direct Debit - you can set this up easily by contacting
Trafford Housing Trust
- Via the internet - click here to
pay online. Payments via this method will take 5-7 days
to appear on your rent account.
- Telephone - Use your debit or credit card and call our secure
phone line on 0844 557 8321 and follow the instructions.
Before calling the number make sure to have your rent payment card
and debit/credit card to hand
- Cash or cheque:
- Cash: Take your rent payment card for
reference and the cash you wish to deposit to any local post
office.
- Cheque: Make any cheques payable to Trafford
Housing Trust and post them to the Rents Department, Trafford
Housing Trust Limited, Sale Point, 126-150 Washway Road, Sale M33
6AG
It is important to never send cash through the
post.

- Direct from your wages
- Bankers Order - you can set this up easily by contacting
Trafford Housing Trust
We will also help you to keep on top of your rent payments
and promise to:
- Send you a rent statement four times a year and on request
- Give you a minimum of 28 days notice on any changes to your
rent
- Enter you in our quarterly prize draw if you pay by direct
debit
- Help you apply for Housing Benefit and any other benefits you
may be entitled to
If you are currently claiming welfare benefits including income
support or job seekers allowance, or if you are on a low income,
you may be entitled to claim housing and council tax benefit and
this could pay for some, or all, of your rent.
