Difficulties paying your rent?
We understand juggling money can be difficult, and struggling on
your own is not the answer. If you are having trouble paying your
rent and have fallen behind on payments then come and talk to our
Money Support Service. It is important you tell us as soon as you
get into difficulties.
Our Money Support Service can help in a number of
ways. We'll:
- Visit you at home to discuss your money difficulties
- Work out a payment plan with you to pay off any debts owing to
us over a period of time
- Refer you to a specialist debt adviser who will contact any
other companies you owe money to: catalogues, banks, credit card
companies etc...
- Discuss with you any other entitlements, such as benefits you
may not be claiming but are entitled to
These are just some of the ways we can help and support you.
However, if you don't inform us of your money problems, make
arrangements to repay your debts and then fail to keep up with
payments, you may risk being evicted from your home.
