We provide a handyman service to a range of tenants, those over
60, that live in Sheltered Schemes and attached link houses, and
residents that have an emergency call system.
The handyman service is available Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. To

The handymen will carry out the following duties:
- Bleed radiators
- Clear blocked grids/sinks
- Change light bulbs/lampshades
- Ease doors
- Fit shelves/brackets
- Fit curtain rails
- Fit new wireless door bell
- Reposition furniture
- Fit toilet roll holder/towel rail
- Unpack and install appliances (fridges, washing machines
etc...)
- Fit safety chain to external door
- Pick up/drop off furniture (smaller items)
- Fit smoke alarms
- Replace W.C. seat
- Re-washer taps
- Fit draught excluders
- Fit hot water cylinder jacket
- Change 'Yale' locks
- Service locks
- Fit washing lines and posts
- Small garden clearance
- Fit shower rail and curtain
- Strip and prepare small areas ready for redecoration
- Emulsion paint small areas
- Erect flat pack furniture (smaller items)
- Hang pictures/mirrors
- Minor tiling (walls only)
- Reseal in kithens and bathrooms
