Trafford Housing Trust

Race and Hate Crime

As a responsible landlord and employer, Trafford Housing Trust does not tolerate any form of racial harassment and hate crime and will work with the community and our staff to stamp out any kind of racist activity.

"A racist incident is any incident, which is perceived to be racist by the victim, or any other person." - Recommendation 12, Stephen Lawrence Inquiry.

We are a member of DIVERSE, Trafford's forum for dealing with racial harassment and hate crime issues. This means you can report an incident to any of our housing officers, you don't have to go to a police station to report it. Our housing officers can also help you to fill out the form should you need help. This will then be forwarded to the police for further action.

We are committed to promoting a safe and secure environment so all those involved with the Trust can live and work peacefully together in the community.
