Abodes is a new homefinder service to be launched by Trafford
Housing Trust which aims to unlock the private property renters
market within Trafford.
Abodes lists a variety of properties, from individual living
spaces for older customers - with the added security of a communal
front door and intercom system and a wide range of social
activities available - to a wide selection of houses, flats and
bedsits.
We also encourage applicants to register for mutual exchange.
This allows two applicants to find their ideal home through an
approved swap.
For those who are happy to move outside Trafford, our
partnership in the Greater Manchester sub regional Choiced Based
Lettings scheme, http://www.pinpoint.org.uk/ offers access to a
range of available properties throughout the region.
We will also have a range of new build opportunities available
in the near future.
Abodes will operate in the same way as Choice Based Lettings. A
range of private rental opportunities will be advertised and
interested applicants will be supported through the lettings
process by a combination of services including pre-tenancy
interviews, document verification and accompanied viewings. We also
provide advice on benefits, Trafford Rent and Bond entitlements and
guidance on tenancy conditions.
