The Trust continues to deliver on its value for money promises

19 January 2015

Tag with value-for-money A better way of working on itThe Trust has just signed a deal with an electricity supplier at a total cost of circa £345K, which will deliver a massive 4% saving compared to last year (2014/15) for customers in communal buildings and a total saving of 6% for larger buildings such as Fiona Gardens in Sale.  This will be welcome news to those tenants who will see a reduction in the electricity element of their service charge.  Jane McCall, Director of Landlord for the Trust said, “ This is excellent news for customers, particularly in a time of rising energy costs and demonstrates the Trust’s continued commitment to providing value for money wherever we can.”

In addition the VFM work that the Trust has done recently will feature in a ‘Value for Money Report’ by housing benchmarking organisation, Housemark, as an example of good practice within the housing sector.

In September we published our Annual Report and our VFM report and video.
