On 17th June, Trafford Housing Trust celebrated the official re-opening of Bramhall Close as part of their Sheltered Schemes project. To commemorate the opening, and in remembrance of the 100 year anniversary of World War One, Bramhall Close played host to a World War One style Fun Day.

Entertainment on the day included a bagpiper, THT staff singing war time songs and children from the local Lime Tree School also performed.

Trafford Housing Trust has spent over £200,000 on refurbishments, and the newly renovated Bramhall Close was opened by Barbara Hampson, a Sale resident of over 60 years. She was joined for the cutting of the ribbon by Councillor Mr Ejaz Malik, Mayor of Trafford and Matthew Gardiner, CEO of Trafford Housing Trust.Bramhall Clse opening event 17-6-14 (18).jpg
