With so many employees, we've devised a number of ways to keep
the lines of communication open, to ensure we deliver best practice
and continuous improvement at all levels:
Breakfast Meetings
Chief Executive, Matthew Gardiner, breakfast meetings with small
groups of staff from across the business to discuss in-depth issues
and/or ideas team members may have to evolve services and working
practices.
Sunshine Briefing Sessions
These sessions are more formal meetings held regularly with the
whole company. The purpose of the meetings are to communicate
company activity and service improvements, and to give everyone the
chance for feedback and updates.
The Staff Conference
The Staff Conference is a yearly event, which brings together
the entire workforce to communicate activity and improvements
ongoing within the Trust. It provides a great opportunity to meet
up with other teams across the business and to get to know those
who work in different locations and departments. Overall it allows
you to become a part of Team THT.
Wellbeing Events
The Trust holds a number of wellbeing events throughout the year
aimed at making the trust a healthier and happier place to work.
Events include Family Fundays run in conjunction with Trafford
Leisure Trust, therapy sessions (including reiki, massage, exercise
classes). We also have a Wellbeing Focus Group where staff can put
forward new initiatives and we have a number of Wellbing Champions
throughout the Trust who provide wellbeing support to both our
staff and customers.
Stop, Look, Listen, Care Campaign
An employee initiative about giving and getting respect was
launched to encourage our workforce to go the extra mile for one
another, and also our customers, by focusing on positive
communication and taking responsibility.
Stop and give more time to our neighbours.
Look at ways to support those around us.
Listen to our neighbours.
Care by committing our time to make a difference to our
communities.
Christmas Party
The Christmas Party is always an enjoyable event and a chance
for staff from all departments to socialise.
