How do I apply to sheltered housing in Trafford?

There are two ways to apply to our sheltered housing schemes:

1. REGISTER WITH HOST

You'll need to register with Housing Options Service Trafford (HOST). You can do this on the register button at the top right of their homepage

If you’re interested in a property, you’ll need to click on the advert’s place bid button.

For more information about the bidding process, please visit Trafford Home Choice.

2. APPLY DIRECTLY

You can call the relevant scheme manager directly to express your interest in a scheme.

Scheme managers are responsible for dealing with their own rehousing, and each scheme has its own waiting list. You can be added to more than one list if you like multiple schemes.

The waiting list of the schemes vary. Some schemes may be available immediately, while others have longer waiting times.

We recommend applying to schemes via both methods outlined above to increase your chances of securing a place at your chosen scheme.

It’s also worth speaking to a scheme manager to find out more details before applying.
