It's National Apprenticeship Week from 8 to 12 February, and we're exhibiting at the National Apprenticeship Show, virtually!

Why should I read more?

  • Apprenticeships have changed. They are not just for 16 to 19-year olds anymore.
  • They are for anyone aged over 16, not in full-time education and who live in England.
  • You can start an apprenticeship whether you're starting your career or want a career change.
  • You can even have a previous qualification like a degree and still start an apprenticeship, but your chosen apprenticeship has to be completely different from your existing qualifications.

What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a real job where you learn, gain experience and get paid. You're an employee with a contract of employment and holiday leave. By the end of an apprenticeship, you'll have the right skills and knowledge needed for your chosen career.

How will I benefit from the show?

The Virtual Fair will have various employers showcasing careers, apprenticeships and providing webinars, Q&As and much more. Virtual visitors will be able to take advantage of multiple resources, including our webinar 'Insights into Apprenticeships at THT', shown at 2.30pm. This will be followed by an as live Q&A session with THT colleagues.

Does THT have any apprenticeship opportunities?

THT are launching their Spring 2021 apprenticeships during National Apprenticeship Week. We will provide more information about our apprenticeships, how to apply, and tips on successfully gaining and thriving in an apprenticeship at our stand.

How do I register for the show?

To register, please visit The National Apprenticeship Show website. We will be live between 11.00am and 6.00pm on Wednesday 10 February, so please visit us on our virtual stand and find out more about what opportunities and support we can give you.

Remember to look out for our social posts during National Apprenticeship Week and share it with your friends or family that may benefit from these opportunities.
